IndiGo Starts Charging Extra For Check-in At Airports

To encourage online check-in, IndiGo airline has decided to charge Rs 100 from its passengers as a convenience fee on the check-in at airport counters from October 17. The airline's measure aims at reducing the human-contact to contain the COVID-19 spread at the airports. IndiGo stated, "We encourage all passengers to web check-in as per government directive, using our website or mobile app."
