Drunk Man Threatens IndiGo With Hoax Bomb On Flight To Prevent Family From Leaving India
A drunk Chennai man contacted the police control center and reported a bomb had been put on a Dubai-bound airplane on August 27. The IndiGo aircraft was supposed to leave Chennai at 7:20 a.m., but it was delayed due to a bomb threat, which turned out to be a fake. The call was traced back to Chennai, who claimed to be trying to prevent his family from going to Dubai.

Customs Seizes 1.42 Kg Gold Hidden In 2 Flyers' Rectum At Chennai Airport
The Customs authority at the Chennai airport on January 13 seized 1.42 kg of gold worth Rs 72.6 lakhs and other items including cigarettes, smartphones, laptops and liquor amounting to Rs 12.4 lakhs. UAE Flights Resume from Chennai after 4 Months
After a span of 4 months, international travel is steadily getting back on track. International flights from Chennai to UAE have resumed. However, the flights won't be available on a daily basis but will make it feasible for the international travelers. IndiGO and GoAir flights are available to UAE. According to the issued SOP, after acquiring tickets, travelers must provide all the details in the TN e-pass portal.
