Tamil actress Pauline Jessica, popularly known as Divya, died by way of suicide in her Chennai flat in Virugambakkam area on September 18. A private airline flying from Chennai to Dubai got a false bomb threat call on August 27. A fire massive in size, broke out at an oil factory in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai, during the early hours on August 18. Reportedly, the incident occurred at Chennai’s Vanagaram, and as many as 14 fire tenders rushed to true spot to douse then fire. No casualties have been reported, and the cause of fire is yet to be determined. Further details on the matter are awaited.

The Chennai Metro Rail Ltd. is scheduled to organise live musical performances at metro stations and in trains. The move is expected to increase footfall, and will be carried out for a month, starting this weekend.
