Explosives Plated 2 Months Before In Dantewada Naxal Attack: Police
In the investigation of the Dantewada IED blast bt Maoists, the Chhattisgarh police and special force revealed that the IED was planted at the region, two months back. As per sources, the police confirmed that the planted explosive was missed out during the demining exercise, conducted by the government officials, under the roads ministry. Notably, two days back a massive blast by naxals, killed 10 security personnel in Dantewada.

Chhattisgarh Police Arrests 9 People, Seizes Cannabis Worth Rs 4.50 Cr
In three incidents, the Chhattisgarh Police seized cannabis worth Rs 4.50 crore and arrested nine people, on April 25. As per PTI, the incidents happened in the Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi districts, where people recovered cannabis in a truck and car. Kalicharan Maharaj Arrested In Sedition Case In MP: Chhattisgarh Police
Religious leader Kalicharan Maharaj was arrested from his rented residence in Madhya Pradesh, on December 30. He has been charged under a sedition case for making derogatory remarks against Mahatma Gandhi. "On the basis of evidence, Section 153 (1)(A), 153 B 1(A), 295 A, 505 (1)(B) have also been included," said Chhattisgarh Police. Meanwhile, MP government alleged that Maharaj was arrested without informing Madhya Pradesh police.
