Taking a dig at Congress, PM Narendra Modi said, "Whenever the Congress comes to power in the country, terrorists and Naxalites get emboldened. News of bomb blasts and murders are reported from here and there." The Congress government has failed to contain incidents of Naxal violence (in Chhattisgarh), the PM said. Bus Rammed Into Truck, 3 Killed And 6 Injured: Chhattisgarh

In a fatal accident, three people, Sajan (30), Rukdev (45), and Akram Raza (28), died and six were left severely injured when a bus rammed into a stationary truck. The incident occurred on July 7, near Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh. The bus was carrying 40 people, going for a public meeting rally of PM Narendra Modi, scheduled in Chhattisgarh. Moreover, Chhattisgarh CM condemned the death and announced Rs 4 lakhs ex-gratia.

6 Persons Drown In Chhattisgarh’s Ramdaha Waterfall; 1 Rescued

In Chhattisgarh’s Koriya district, six persons died by way of drowning in the Ramdaha waterfall, while one person was rescued on August 28. District Magistrate Kuldeep Sharma stated that all were residents of Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli. Soon after the incident, a rescue operation was launched, and officials were able to retrieve the bodies of the deceased, and rescue one person who was drowning.
