Tata Group Forbids Smoking & Intake Of Intoxicating Substances In Workplace At Air India
After reclaiming ownership of Air India, the Tata group outlawed smoking and the usage of intoxicating substances at work, as per Suresh Dutt Tripathi, Air India's chief human resources officer (CHRO). “We would not like to make any comment on any internal communication like this,” stated an Air India representative. Following the takeover, the Tatas made several reforms to Air India in order to transform it into a professional airline.
