Singer R. Kelly Convicted Guilty For Sex Trafficking & Racketeering By Jury

R. Kelly was convicted guilty by the federal court in New York, on September 27, of orchestrating a decade-long plan to lure young girls for sex. Kelly pled not guilty to all charges levelled against him but was found guilty of all nine counts of racketeering, and sex trafficking brought against him by jury. Kelly faces the possibility of decades in prison; his sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 4, 2022.

Four Arrested Under Child Pornography Case In Pakistan's Punjab

Four persons, involved in pedophiles and child pornography rings, have been arrested in Pakistan's Punjab. Reportedly, they were allegedly bullying the young boys since 2018 and were operating the ring from a marriage bureau. The police seized several mobile phones, a 64GB USB filled with pornographic videos. However, police are yet to identify the victims. Besides, Pakistan reported 2,960 cases of child abuse in 2020.

Germany Busts One Of World's Biggest Child Porn Network On Darknet

Following a series of raids in mid-April, the German police disclosed of taking down 'one of the largest darknet child pornography sites in the world.’ Detaining four owners, the police revealed that the platform 'Boystown' was operating since 2019 with over 400,000 members. In the seven raids across Germany, three men of age group 40 to 64 were apprehended. Netherlands, Sweden, the US, and Canada have supported the operation.

Kerala: 100 Trained Cyber-Officials Deployed To Curb Child Pornography

The Kerala cyber police have deployed nearly 100 trained officers and installed modern tools including software to track the child pornography rackets. Kerala Cyber Cops Arrests 41 People For Promoting Child Pornography

Registering 339 cases, the Kerala cyber police arrested 41 people on December 28 for allegedly promoting child pornography. ADGP Manoj Abraham said that under a special operation the police had raided 596 locations and seized 392 computers and mobile phones. While most of the confiscated content belonged to children between the ages of 6 to 15 years, ADGP Abraham said, “We have zero-tolerance towards such offences”.

CBI Busts Kashmiri Man For Running Sex Racket With His Wife In US

A Kashmiri man has been arrested by the CBI for operating a child sex racket with his US-based wife. The couple - Niyaz Ahmed Mir and Tamara Stanley - has been charged by the CBI for targeting minors in the US and uploading their pornographic videos for monetary gains. Raiding Mir’s house, the CBI has seized laptops, mobiles, and hand-scribbled notes. Earlier in June, Tamara was arrested by US authorities.
