Flash Floods Claim Lives Of 39 People Including 9 Children In Afghanistan
New districts of Afghanistan were impacted by heavy rains, as 39 people have perished as a result of flash floods. Flash floods have claimed the lives of individuals in five provinces since July 5: Uruzgan (20), Ghazni (6), Nuristan (7), Paktya (3), and Zabul (3), with nine of them being children. Around 2,900 homes have been destroyed by the torrential rains, which have also affected daily life.

Tripura Govt Intends To Re-Enroll Students Who Dropped Out Due To Covid Pandemic
Tripura government has decided to readmit all students aged 6 to 14 who had to discontinue their education. The decision was taken after the education department performed a study that revealed 8,850 students in Grades 1 through 8 had dropped out due to closure of physical education classes because of Covid pandemic. As part of School Cholo Abhiyan, the department will embark on an inquiry to re-enroll all dropout children.
