China Releases Official Standard Map 2023 Edition, Includes Dispute Arunachal Pradesh
China officially released the 2023 edition of its "standard map" incorporating the disputed areas including its claims over Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin region, Taiwan and the disputed South China Sea. India has repeatedly said that the state of Arunachal Pradesh has "always been" and will "always be" an integral part of the country. Released on August 28, the standard map is said to be compiled of all boundaries china share.

US Will Not Return Spy Balloon Debris To China
The United States of America Government denied to return the spy balloon debris to China. On February 7, John Kirby, the National Security Council Spokesperson said, "They have recovered some remnants off the surface of the sea and weather conditions did not permit much undersea surveillance of the debris field." In addition, the Chinese Government said, the balloon was nothing but a way to observe US weather.

US Top Officials Postpones Visit To China Amid Spy Balloon
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken postponed a visit to China, confirmed sources on February 5. The cancellation was in the view of a suspected spy balloon tracked flying across the United States in what Washington called a "clear violation" of US sovereignty. China Approves Pfizer's COVID-19 Oral Drugs For Conditional Use
China's drug regulator approved conditional use of Pfizer oral drugs (pills) for COVID-19, on February 12. China To Hold Olympics 2022 As Scheduled Despite Global 'Omicron Scare'
The Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian, assured that the 2022 Olympics will be held in Beijing, China. "I am fully confident that the Winter Olympic games will be successfully held in accordance with the schedule", said Lijian, on November 30.
