China's Exports To India Plunge While India's Exports to China Surge

The trade flow between India and China has tilted significantly in favour of the former one. The Chinese Customs Data released on December 7 read that China's export to India, from January-November 2020, has plunged 13% whereas its import from India has increased by 16%. Reportedly, China's export to India stood at $59 billion while India exported about $19 billion of goods to China. With this, India lowered its trade deficit with China.

China Imports Indian Rice For The First Time In Last Three Decades

Amid border disputes, China has started to import rice from India after its suppliers Thailand, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Vietnam tightened the imports.
