As LJP leader Chirag Paswan met with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Bihar's Patna on September 8, the speculation has become rife about their alliance in politics against JDU and BJP. However, Paswan didn't endorse any such talk and said he met Yadav to invite him on the death anniversary of LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan. Meanwhile, Paswan said he couldn't meet CM Nitish Kumar because he didn't respond.

Delhi HC Dismisses Chirag Paswan's Plea; Calls It 'Inter-Party Dispute'
The Delhi HC has dismissed the petition of Lok Janshakti Party leader Chirag Paswan on July 9 to recognize his uncle Pashupati Parasa as the leader of the party in the house. The HC termed it as an 'inter-party dispute'. Paswan had filled the petition on July 7 against the Lok Sabha Speaker's initial decision. ''You take your call...But the court cannot get into this dispute,'' said Justice Rekha Palli.

Chirag Paswan Claims BJP's Awareness About Bihar Election Decision
Politician Chirag Paswan claims that BJP was aware of his decision to fight the Bihar Elections outside the NDA. While he did not deny to a possible alliance with RJD, he also said that his belief in PM Modi may change if it remains 'one-sided'. However, Paswan has decided not to fight against BJP due to their 2014 alliance, but alone, after his agenda wasn't given importance.

Five Out Six MPs To Quit Chirag Paswan's LJP; Likely To Join JD(U)
After the death of Ram Vilas Paswan's father, it is expected that Lok Janshakti Party Chief Chirag Paswan may lose Five out of six MPs due to internal mutiny. However, these MP's have requested the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to identify them as separate MPs. Reportedly, Chirag's Uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras has revolted with the others and is likely to join the ruling party JD(U).

LJP Eyes Expansion; Calls To Contest All Seats In Bengal, Assam
Chirag Paswan led Lok Janshakti Party has announced to contest the upcoming assembly elections in West Bengal and Assam. LJP’s Secretary-General Abdul Khaliq said that the decision had been taken after party leaders met to conclude that party’s presence had to be cemented to voice for marginalised communities.
