Kerala's Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL), noted for being the world's first solar-powered airport, commissioned two floating solar power plants on January 17. Using French technology, CIAL has presented economical high-density polyethylene floats upon which 1300 photovoltaic panels were installed.
