SRK Denied Fan's Request Lighting Cigarette With Him, Netizens Applause
Shah Rukh Khan completed 31 years in the film industry and conducted an AskSRK. During the session, one of the Twitter users asked SRK to have a cigarette with him. The fan's tweet read, "#askSRK Sath me cigarette pine chaloge kya @iamsrk sir ???" To this, SRK replied, "Main apni buri aadatein akele hi karta hoon!! Delhi Court Summons Filmmaker Leena Manimekalai For Kaali Controversy
Leena Manimekalai, a filmmaker, has received a summons from a Delhi court on a lawsuit that aims to prevent her from showing the goddess Kali smoking a cigarette. A lawsuit was lodged against Manimekalai for representing the Hindu deity in an "uncalled manner" in the "Kaali" poster and commercial video, which featured the goddess smoking a cigarette. 15-Year-Old Consumes Entire Pack Of Cigarettes After Being 'Inspired' By KGF's Rocky Bhai
A 15-year-old boy from Hyderabad got influenced by the protagonist Rocky Bhai and smoked a complete pack of smokes after seeing KGF Chapter 2 three times in two days. He was taken to a hospital with terrible throat soreness. "Movie-makers and actors have a moral responsibility to not glamorize acts like smoking cigarettes or chewing tobacco or consuming alcohol," pulmonologist Dr. Rohith Reddy Pathuri stated in response to the case.

Swedish Company Trains Crows To Pick Cigarette Butts From Streets
Swedish firm named Corvid Cleaning, is training crows to pick up cigarette butts from the streets. “They are easier to teach and there is a higher chance of them learning from each other,'' quoted the founder. New Caledonian crows, that possess the intelligence of a seven-year-old human child, are used for the job. Notably, The firm is carrying out several tests before rolling out the operation across the city.

India Ranks 2nd With More Smokers Aged 16 To 64: Report
India has ranked second in the number of smokers aged between 16 and 64 years, according to a report prepared by "The International Commission to Reignite the Fight Against Smoking". Reportedly, around 250,002,133 Indians in the said age group are smokers. The report also stated that India has one the highest number of oral cancer cases, and a very low "quit rate", at about 20 percent.

Illegal Cigarette Shot Up By 10 Times In 2020-21; More Than FY20
The trade of illegal cigarettes in India soared by 10 times in the pandemic year 2020-21 as compared to FY-20. Presented in Lok Sabha, the report said that illegal cigarette worth Rs 1,772 crore were recovered till February 21, 2021, as compared to Rs 188 crore in FY 20. Customs Seizes 1.42 Kg Gold Hidden In 2 Flyers' Rectum At Chennai Airport
