Centre Invites Non-Muslim Refugees To Apply For Indian Citizenship
The Union Ministry of Home Affairs on May 28 commenced the application-collecting process from non-Muslim minorities residing in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan for the Indian citizenship. Parliament Extends Time Limit To Frame CAA 2019 Rules
Minister Nityanand Rai has stated that the parliament has extended the time to frame the rules under the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019. According to the new development, the rules will be presented before April 9 in the Lok Sabha and before July 9 in Rajya Sabha. Moreover, Minister Rai said the foreigners covered under the CAA may submit applications after the rules are notified.

Supreme Court Reiterates Protests Should Not Affect Rights Of Others
