BMC Starts Construction Process Of 2 Bridges In Maharashtra
The BMC has started the process of construction of two important bridges that were announced in the 2022 - 23 civic budget. Notably, work on Juhu Vile Parle Development (JVPD) bridge is expected to start within a month, whereas the other bridge proposed to decongest Western Express Highway (WEH) will take some time, confirmed BMC. For the bridge construction, the State Government is to release Rs 350 crore.

Siliguri Dengue Cases Rise Rapidly, 101 Cases Registered So Far
In Siliguri, the dengue cases are rising rapidly, increasing concern to the concerned authority and people. So far, till August 31, there are 110 cases of Dengue were reported in the region. In order to control the spread of the disease, the authority even engaged Vector Control Teams (VCT) to ensure that the situation is under control in the town. The major reason behind dengue rise is the weather change.

Delhi Registered Over 130 Dengue Cases Till June 25, Says Civic Body
In 2022, the national capital reported 130 dengue cases have been reported, confirmed the Delhi Civic Body, on June 27. In detail, Delhi recorded 23 dengue cases in January, 16 in February, 22 in March, 20 in April and 30 in May and 23 cases in June. Compared to last year, the capital city registered three times more in 2022. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi urged people to be careful.

Badlapur To Soon Get Intercity Bus Services, Says KDMC Transport Department
Amid the growing population, close to 3 lakhs in Maharashtra's Badlapur, the Kulgaon Badlapur municipal council demanded for intercity bus services in this jurisdiction. SEC Announces Civic Body Polls For 4 Corporations: West Bengal
West Bengal State Election Commission (SEC,) announced municipal elections dates for four corporations. Stray Animals In Delhi To Get Special Ambulance Service: NDMC
To provide medical assistance to stray animals, the New Delhi Municipal Committee (NDMC) launched an ambulance service on August 19 in Delhi. North Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh said that the ambulance also includes a hydraulic system for comfortably uploading the animals and a melodious tunes system to keep calm the animal. The six zones of the civic body will receive one of such ambulances.
