AAP Councillor Quits Party, Joins BJP In Delhi

After the recent Delhi Civic Polls, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Pawan Sehrawat decided to join the opposition BJP. On February 24, the AAP councillor from Bawana was welcomed by working president Virendra Sachdeva and general secretary Harsh Malhotra. Sehrawat claims suffocation and corruption, a reasons to quit AAP.  The political switch came hours after the disturbed election of six members of the standing committee, at Civic Centre.

BJP MLA Pravin Darekar Launches 'Pol Khol' Van In Mumbai

In Mumbai, BJP MLA Pravin Darekar flagged off a special 'Pol-Khol' (anti-corruption) van against the Shiv Sena government, ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.
