COVID Infection Found in Syrian Refugee Camp, 36,000 Under Threat
The United Nations(UN) Refugee agency on September 8, announced the outbreak of COVID-19 in a Syrian camp in Jordan, where more than 36,000 refugees reside. Reportedly, two people tested positive and have been transferred to quarantine wards, while more tests are being conducted. The refugee agency said, “It is a reminder that everyone has been affected, and solutions must be addressed through solidarity and cooperation”.
