Two-time Olympic gold medalist boxer Claressa Shields will make her professional debut in mixed martial arts in 2021. The world champion boxer has signed a contract with the Professional Fighters League and targets the 2022 title to become the first woman to win both MMA and boxing titles. Claressa said, "I’m really going to strengthen the things that I’m weak at," and has added she is serious on her decision.
