Earthquake Of 7.2 Magnitude Kills 300, Injures 1,800 In Haiti

An earthquake of magnitude 7.2 struck southwestern Haiti on the morning of August 14 killing at least 300 people and injuring over 1,800. The tremors of the quake were felt in neighboring Cuba as well. The new prime minister Ariel Henry declared a one-month state of emergency, saying the government will deploy all resources to help those who are in need.
