Hong Kong's News Website Citizen News To Close Shutters: China
Owing to the deteriorating condition of media in Hong Kong, another news site, Citizen News, decided to shut its operations on January 4. Reportedly, media organisations are facing tough challenges in Hong Kong since China took over the city. ''The major changes in our society...have made it impossible for us to realise our mission without worries,'' said Citizen. Earlier, Stand News, Apply Daily also shut their shutters down.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple Closed For 2 Days; Construction Work Underway
In Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi, Kashi Vishwanath Temple has been closed from November 30 till December 1 to complete construction work within the premises. Reportedly, the work of polishing the new marbles is going on. Earlier in November, CM Yogi had also installed a rare idol of Maa Annapurna Devi at the temple which was stolen about 100 years ago. The idol was recently retrieved from Canada.
