Mafia, Don And Corruption Have No Place In UP: Yogi Adityanath

After the threat call was received, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave a befitting response to the unidentified people. Addressing the media, Yogi said, "There is no place for any mafia dons or criminals in Uttar Pradesh. There is no place for corruption and the corrupt either."  Notably, Yogi Adityanath-led BJP started a campaign for the UP Local Body elections, following which he received a threatening call.

Security Beefed Up At UP CM Residence Amid Bomb Call Threat

UP Assembly Speaker To Be Elected On March 29

After Yogi Adityanath's oath-taking ceremony as CM, the BJP led UP Government will now elect the Assembly Speaker on March 29. The name will be announced during a legislature meeting, scheduled to be held in the UP Assembly Secretariat, at 3 pm. Nominations for the speaker will be filed till evening of March 28. Furthermore, the MLAs will also take oath from March 28, administered by protem speaker Ramapati Shastri.

UP CM Yogi Lauds Double Engine BJP Govt For Irrigation Projects

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath addressed a public rally in Jhansi and praised the double engine government of the BJP, to improve situation in Bundelkhand. He said, the administration is working to fulfil the vision of "Har Khet Ko Paani, Har Haath Ko Kamm". Addressing the public, Yogi said, the  BJP Government completed 12 irrigation projects. Priyanka Gandhi Hints To Be Congress CM Face In UP

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, on January 21, hinted to be the "CM face" of the party in Uttar Pradesh. Noida International Airport To Be Functional In 2024, Says Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, on November 23, announced that the Noida International Airport will be functional from 2024. Considered to be Asia's largest airport, it will provide employment to one lakh people, and will be pollution-free. The airport is going to have an investment worth Rs 30,000-35,000 crores. PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the fifth international airport of UP, on November 24 at 1 PM.

Yogi Govt To Give 50k Compensation To Families Of COVID-19 Victims

In the biggest relief to the bereaved families of COVID-19, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on October 17 announced to provide a compensation of Rs 50,000 to the victim family in the state. Issuing the detailed guideline about financial relief, CM Yogi also directed the officials to ensure every eligible family gets the compensation. Reportedly, district magistrates in the state will supervise the work.
