Only Winnable Candidates Should Given Ticket: Rajasthan CM Gehlot

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot addressed the Rajasthan Youth Congress conference and gave 'mantras' to win the upcoming assembly elections. Gehlot suggested that if the party wants to win the elections, it should decide the candidates two months prior, and assure tickets only to 'winnable' candidates. He also asked the leaders to be patient if wants to be successful in politics. " The Rajasthan elections are to be held in December.

Pulwama Jawan's Widows Call For Protest Against Congress CM Gehlot

After the Rajasthan Police detained BJP leader Kirodi Lal Meena, party workers held another protest in Jaipur, against the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress Government. Notably, the protest of widows' of jawans, who died in the Pulwama attack, came after Ashok Gehlot accused Mr Meena of using widows for political gains. Mr Meena, in turn, has accused the police of "trying to kill him". The protest intensified in Jaipur.

Tejasvi Surya Slams CM Gehlot; Calls Him 'Aurangzeb'

BJP firebrand Tejasvi Surya has lashed out at the Congress party, referring to them as a "modern-day Muslim League." He also claimed that "second-grade treatment" is being meted out to the Hindus in Rajasthan. He further linked Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot to Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, and slammed what he has described as an "anti-Hindu policy." The BJP MP made these remarks after he was stopped from visiting the Karauli town.

FIR Filed Against Vaibhav Gehlot Over Fraud Allegations: Gujarat

An FIR has been registered against Vaibhav Gehlot son of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, as stated by senior police officer, Gangapur police station. Complainant Sushil Patil stated that in 2018, he was asked by Gujarat Congress member Sachin Valre, who allegedly is close to Vaibhav Gehlot, to invest in a private limited company. Patil then stated that a video call was arranged with Vaibhav who assured him of his returns.

A Jaipur court has issued notices to CM Ashok Gehlot and other leaders in connection with a phone tapping case, during 2020 political crisis. In addition, the court asked them to appear before it on March 16. The notices were issued on the petition filed by advocate OP Solanki, on behalf of Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Shekhawat, alleging Congress of tapping the phones of politicians, leaked by Lokesh Sharma.

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot tested positive for COVID-19, on January 6.  He took to Twitter and said, "This evening I got my COVID test done, which came positive. I have very mild symptoms and no other problems. All the people who came in contact with me today are requested to isolate themselves and get their COVID test done". All Ministers In Ashok Gehlot-Led Government Resigned: Rajasthan

All of the ministers in Rajasthan's Ashok Gehlot-led government submitted their resignations to the chief minister, paving the way for a Cabinet reshuffle. The resignation came after a meeting of the Rajasthan council of ministers on November 20 evening at 7 p.m at C.M house in Jaipur.  As per reports, all of the ministers will be gathering at the state Congress offices to make final decisions on November 21.

Rain Claims Lives; Rajasthan CM Grants Rs 5 Lakh To Bereaved Kins

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot announced a monetary aid of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the deceased who suffered death due to heavy rains, and Rs 2 lakh to the injured in the state on August 7. The money was allocated from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund through a virtual meeting. The state govt has also planned to compensate the incurred crop damage after a revenue survey.
