TMC Conducts Martyr's Rally, People Gather In Bulk At Venue Amid Security
Commemorating the killing of 13 people in firing on Congress Youth Rally, the Trinamool Congress took out a Martyr's Day Rally, on July 21. A huge number of people from across West Bengal gathered at Esplanade, the city's downtown area, for the mega Martyr's Day rally, amid tight security by the City Police. The annual rally is being held after a gap of two years due to the pandemic.

Vlogger Arrested, Remanded For Abusing CM Mamata Banerjee: West Bengal
West Bengal Vlogger Roddur Roy was arrested on charges of hurling abuses at CM Mamata Banerjee and TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee. Famous social media vlogger, Roy has been remanded for five days' police custody by a city court. Roy, whose real name is Anirban, was banned by a team of Kolkata Police officers in Goa, brought back to Kolkata, and was charged under IPC sections, and remanded till June 14.

BJP MP Accuses Mamata Banerjee Of Making West Bengal Another 'Pakistan'
BJP MP Arjun Singh, accused West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee for making the state "another Pakistan". "Banerjee supports the statement of the 'Tukde-Tukde' gang and she somewhere wants that the state becomes another Pakistan," Singh said. He further stated that many industries have been closed in Bengal and that is the reason people are leaving the state. Reportedly, around 40 lakh people are forced to work outside the state.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee Announced Public Connect Programme
Aiming national elections 2024, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced public connect program from May 5. West Bengal CM To Extend SP President Akhilesh Yadav In UP Assembly Polls
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced to support Akhilesh Yadav and Samajwadi Party in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. On February 2, Banerjee said, "We have to chase BJP away". Aiming to expand TMC, party president also announced to contest UP Lok Sabha seats in 2024. Ganga Sagar Mela Commences With Strict Protocols Amid Rising Cases
The Calcutta High Court gave permission to organize Ganga Sagar Mela but with strict Covid-19 protocols. On January 12, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee inaugurated the Ganga Sagar Mela at Gangasagar in WB. TMC Appoints Sushmita Dev, Sourav Chakraborty As Party In-Charge: Goa
Ahead of the Goa Assembly elections, the TMC appointed Sushmita Dev and Sourav Chakraborty as state co-in-charges of the All India Trinamool Congress, Goa unit. The decision was taken by TMC President Mamata Banerjee. Meanwhile, Sushmita Dev is an MP of TMC and Sourav Chakraborty was a former MLA.
