Tamil Nadu Reports 4th Incident Of School Girl Suicide, Police Launches Investigation
In the past two weeks, the fourth incident of students committing suicide registered in Tamil Nadu. The latest incident of a girl, studying in class XI, who committed suicide in Sivakasi region. The police confirmed the incident on July 27, and said the girl ended her life at home but didn't recover any suicide notes, and launched an investigation. The rising number of school students, especially girls raised alarming concerns.

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Inaugurates DMK Office In Delhi; DMK In National Politics
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president MK Stalin innaugurated 'Anna-Kalaignar Arivalayam', his party's new office in the national capital, on April 1. On a three-day visit to Delhi, he met PM Modi seeking permission to allow the state goverment to provide humanitarian aids to the Sri Lanka Tamils. He then met Piyush Goyal and visited Government schools with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin Pays Tribute to Gen Bipin Rawat At Madras Regimental Centre
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin paid a floral tribute on December 9, to Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and others who died in the chopper crash, at Madras Regimental Centre. Those who died in military helicopter crash were brought to Madras Regimental Centre on December 8 from Military Hospital. General Rawat, his wife and 11 others were travelling from Sulur to Wellington when the chopper crashed.

MK Stalin: Tamil Nadu Day To Be Celebrated On July 18
Tamil Nadu's ruling DMK party announced that Tamil Nadu Formation Day will be celebrated on July 18, instead of November 1. Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Boards A City Bus, Astonishes Commuters
When Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin boarded a metropolis bus that shuttles women for free in Chennai, passengers were got astonished. He got on the "M-19 b Kannagi Nagar-T Nagar" service.
