Amid Journo Protests, Manipur To Investigate Newspaper Office Attack
Manipur CM N Biren Singh has sanctioned a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the grenade attack wreaked on Imphal-based news daily 'Poknapham's office on February 14. Condemning the attack, editors and journalists from Manipur had collectively halted newspaper publications and television news broadcasts, besides organizing sit-in protests.
