Fire Breaks Out At UP Advocate General's Office; No Causalities Reported

A fire broke out in Uttar Pradesh Advocate General's office on July 17. The office is situated in Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar building, and white smoke was seen passing out from the building. About 15 fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Reportedly, fifth to eighth floors were impacted in the mishap, however, no casualties were reported. Files of government cases are kept in the eighth floor.

PM Modi Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia For UP Road Accident Victims

PM Narendra Modi expressed condolences to the families who lost their kin in the Siddharthanagar accident in Uttar Pradesh. Notably, seven people died and four were injured after an SUV rammed into a truck. 7 Killed In Accident When SUV Rammed Into Truck: Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh's Katya village, killed seven people and four people injured due to a major accident, when an SUV carrying a marriage party rammed into a stationary truck. Police confirmed Sachin Pal (16), Mukesh Pal (35), Paswan (26), Shiv Sagar (18), Ravi Paswan (19), Pintu Gupta (25) and driver Gaurav Maurya (22) died. UP CM Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences and assured financial assistance to the victims.

50 Criminals Surrender After Yogi Adityanath Comes Back In Power: UP
