Coach Dravid, Rohit Sharma Discusses WTC Final With High Commissioner
The High Commissioner of India, Vikram Doraiswami, met with Team India coach Rahul Dravid and coach Rohit Sharma ahead of the World Test Championship final at The Oval, London. Doraiswami seemed to have had detailed and friendly interactions with the two stalwarts of Indian cricket, with the other delegates also joining in. After meeting, Dravid and Rohit also signed some bats for the fans and clicked photos.

Indian Men's Hockey Coach Submits Resignation
Indian men's hockey coach Graham Reid announced his resignation after the team's disappointing performance in the FIH World Cup 2023 in Odisha. On January 30, Graham said, "It is now time for me to step aside and hand over the reins to the next management." Besides Graham Reid, the team's analytical coach Greg Clark and scientific advisor Mitchell David Pemberton have also submitted their resignations.

Renowned pacer Lasith Malinga has been appointed as the bowling strategy coach of the Sri Lanka men's team for their Australia tour. Ottis Gibson Set To Quit Bangladesh Cricket Team To Join PSL
Ottis Gibson is set to quit his role as the bowling coach of the Bangladesh National Cricket team. He will soon join Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League as bowling coach. Furthermore, the series against New Zealand will be his last assignment with the tigers, said Ottis. Moreover, he played for West Indies from 1995-1999 in two tests and 15 ODIs, and also featured in 177 first-class matches.

Former Captain Ramnaresh Sarwan Named Selector Of West Indies Cricket Team
Former captain Ramnaresh Sarwan has been appointed as selector to the West Indies cricket team, and youth selection panels. His appointment was confirmed during a board meeting on January 6, and he will serve till June 2024. Sarwan thanked Cricket West Indies (CWI) for the opportunity to serve West Indies cricket. Following two years of service, Lance Klusener, former South African all-rounder, said that he has decided not to renew his contract as Afghanistan cricket team head coach after December 31. Reportedly, it is a big jolt for the team after the Taliban took over Afghanistan. ''I look forward to the next stage in my coaching career,'' said Klusener. Founder Of Delhi's Sonnet Club Tarak Sinha Dies At 71
The 71-year-old Tarak Sinha, a famous Indian cricket coach, passed away due to prolonged illness on November 6. Sinha, a bachelor, is known as a father figure in Delhi's Sonnet Club where he used to train raw talents of cricket. He also won Dronacharya Award in 2018. ''Shri Tarak Sinha, the founder of Sonnet Club, has left us for heavenly abode at 3 AM,'' said the Club.
