Cocaine Worth Rs 9.8 Crore Seized By Mumbai Airport Customs

The customs officials at the Mumbai Airport seized 980 grams of cocaine, estimated to be valued at Rs 9.8 crore from a passenger on October 3. Reportedly, the passenger arrived in Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-610 from Addis Ababa. According to the officials, the contraband was carried in the undergarments of the passenger. The accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

NCB Arrests Actor Armaan Kohli For Possessing Cocaine At Home

Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli appears before a city court on August 29 for possessing a small quality of cocaine at his residence in Mumbai. Kohli and a drug peddler Ajay Raju was on August 28 arrested by NCB following a raid. West Bengal Police Arrests Man With 5 Kg Heroin Worth Rs 25 Crore

Kolkata Police's Special Task Force (STF) recovered over five kilograms of heroin worth Rs 25.09 crore from Purba Bardhaman district’s Rasulpur Bazar on March 1. Following a tip-off, the STF arrested one peddler recovering the narcotic drug from his vehicle. NCB Busts Nigerian Drug Peddler Hiding Cocaine Capsules Mouth

Following a tip-off, the NCB on January 15 arrested Nigerian national allegedly carrying 10-12 cocaine-filled capsules in his mouth. Busting him outside a Juhu-based five-star hotel, the police rushed him to hospital for X-ray and CT-scan where more drugs were discovered in his mouth. The police said it is an old modus-operandi of peddlers and has asked to investigate further about his history in contraband dealings.

$248M Worth of Cocaine Busted In Sydney

A 68-year-old man from Sydney has been arrested after 550 kg of cocaine was found concealed in banana pulp sacks which were smuggled from Brazil. On September 21, Australian Border Force officers had intercepted the package, inspecting approximately 2000 packages of banana fruit pulp from which 275 packages contained cocaine worth $248 million. If the man is found guilty, he could be sentenced for life.
