JNU Resumes For Third-Year Ph.D. Students; COVID Certificate Mandatory
The JNU classes have been resumed for third-year Ph.D. students from September 23, while the final-year students of MSc and MBA or final-year Btech students will resume their offline classes from September 27. However, the students will have to present a negative COVID RT-PCR certificate within 72 hours. Besides, the entry of busses in the campus will be permitted following the COVID protocols.

Schools, Colleges To Reopen from September 1: Delhi Government
Delhi Government has decided to reopen schools and colleges from September 1 after the Disaster Management Authority has issued guidelines for the same. According to the DDMA guidelines, the institutions will be allowed to function at only 50 percent capacity. Under the guideline, it is mandatory to set up quarantine rooms for emergency use and everyone must follow Covid-19 norms given by the government.

UGC Issues SOP For Reopening Of Universities, Colleges In Graded Manner

Jawaharlal Nehru University To Resume Classes From November 2

Colleges Under Gauhati University To Reopen From November 1
Classes for the students of the first, third, and fifth semesters of all undergraduate courses for colleges affiliated to Gauhati University will resume from November 1. Post graduate third semester classes will also begin on the same date and first semester will begin from November 18. However, hostels are unlikely to reopen any time soon.
