Delhi: 7 School Children Injured After Van Collided With Vehicle

In Delhi's Sadar Bazar Road, at least seven children were injured after the school van they were travelling in collided with another vehicle. According to police,  the incident occurred at 01:18 PM, on October 17. A  PCR call regarding an accident of a van carrying students and injured was received at Police Station Delhi Cantt, and rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, van's driver Balvir is being treated at DDU Hospital.

DGCA Revokes License Of Air Traffic Controller For Bengaluru Airport Take Off Incident

Algerian Footballer Dies Of Heart Attack After Colliding With Goalkeeper

In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old Algerian footballer, Sofiane Loukar, died of a heart attack after colliding with his goalkeeper during a match in Oran, on December 25. Reportedly, Loukar continued his game despite the collision but he collapsed a few minutes after receiving treatment for the collision. Therefore, he was sent to hospital but suffered a deadly heart attack on the way. The match was also abandoned.

US Nuclear Submarine Hit By Unknown Object While Operating In Asia

The US Navy said that a US nuclear submarine was damaged after colliding with an unknown object while operating underwater in Asia on October 7. Reportedly, it didn't cause any life-threatening incident, but approximately a dozen sailors were injured. Luckily, its ''nuclear propulsion plant and spaces weren't affected''. The submarine was travelling in the South China Sea to counter China's dominance in the region, media reports said.

Bus Collides With Dumper; 7 Dead, 16 Wounded: MP

About seven people died and 16 were injured when a privately-owned bus carrying 50 passengers collided with a dumper on the Gwalior-Bhind road near the Gohad Chaurha area in Madhya Pradesh on October 1. The city SP Manoj Kumar Singh reached the spot with other officers and injured ones were admitted to a hospital in Gohad and Gwalior. ''I wish the injured a rapid recovery,'' said CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

15 Injured, 3 Dead In Collision Between Bus & Lorry In Palani: Tamil Nadu

After a lorry and a TN state transportation Bus collided in the early morning of September 24, fifteen people sustained injuries and three lost their lives in Palani, Tamil Nadu. As per reports, the collision was caused due to the lorry driver falling asleep and losing control of the vehicle. The Police stated that the injured were moved to Palani government hospital, whereas the lorry driver is being investigated.

Bus Collides With Tractor-trolley; 4 Died, Many Wounded: Haryana

Following a bus carrying 60 passengers rammed into a tractor-trolley, 4 travellers lost their lives and dozens got wounded on August 26 in Haryana's Bhiwani. Reportedly, the bus was on its way to Jhansi from Bhiwani and met with an accident while overtaking the trolley. The injured ones have been rushed to a hospital while the family of the deceased will get compensation as per the government guidelines, said Deputy Commissioner.

Truck-Car Collision Leaves Five Dead In Rajasthan's Nagaur District

Five people, including three women and two men, died after a car rammed into a truck on a highway in Rajasthan's Nagaur district on August 7, the police officials said. Condoling the loss of the deceased, Rajstahan's CM Ashok Gehlot tweeted, ''The death of five people in a road accident in Kuchanman City area of?? Nagaur is extremely sad.'' Meanwhile, Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal also extended his sympathy.

Huge Asteroid To Pass Through Earth At Close Distance

A four-football field-sized asteroid at a speed of 29,000 Km/hr will pass through Earth at a very closer distance at 11:21 pm (IST) on July 25. The asteroid has been named ''2008 GO20'' and has a width of 97 meters and a length of 230 meters. However, according to the Deputy Director of Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Odisha, it will not collide with Earth and will revisit in 2034.
