Comedian Raju Srivastav has passed away at the age of 58, as informed by his family, on September 21. Reportedly, Srivastav experienced chest ache and collapsed to the ground during a workout, on August 10. Following which, he underwent angioplasty on the same day. Srivastav entered the entertainment industry in the 80s, and has been featured in films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ and ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’. 

Deepu Srivastava, Raju Srivastava's younger brother, reported that the popular comedian is no longer in critical condition. Famous comedian Shyam Rangeela from Jaipur joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Rajasthan unit. State elections in-charge Vinay Mishra inducted Rangeela and welcomed him into the Arvind Kejriwal's AAP, on May 5. The Party took to Twitter and posted, "Now along with art, he will awaken the light of education and health revolution is association with the AAP, which does politics of work in the country". 

The demise of comedian Bob Saget has left actor Priyanka Chopra extremely saddened. Priyanka took to Instagram and wrote, "End of an era. Rest in power Bob Saget." On January 9, Bob was found dead at a hotel in Orlando. "We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away," Bob Saget's family. Bob was known for his role as Danny Tanner in the sitcom Full House. 

Comedian Munawar Faruqui bids goodbye after his 12th show got canceled in the past 2 months, including the latest in Bengaluru. In his Instagram post, on November 28, Munawar wrote, "Nafrat jeet Gayi, artist har Gya (Hate won, artist lost) I'm done. Goodbye. Injustice." Earlier in 2021, Faruqui spent a month in jail, for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus, insulting God and goddesses, in one of his shows.
