Vir Das received a nomination at International Emmys for his comedy-special "Vir Das: For India." Das is nominated alongside the Call-My-Agent in a comedy segment. "For a show about India to be nominated abroad is kind of ironic. Just the nomination means your voice has been heard, your talent has been seen. The show itself was an underdog from India. Comedian Kapil Sharma on January 5 shared the news about his digital debut on Netflix. Kapil shared a one minute clip on Twitter with the caption, "Don't believe the rumours guys, only believe me.
