DU Council To Take Up Issue Of Common Entrance Test For Admission To UG Courses
Academic council meeting will be held on December 10, at Delhi University (DU) to discuss whether the Common Entrance Test will take place or not. Admissions in DU is done on the basis of cutoff marks. A committee member said, "entrances should happen but the exact modalities will be decided by the academic council." The AC is likely to approve the constitution of New Education Policy in the University.

CUCET Receives Backlash, Students Plead to Delhi University
Students aspiring to join Delhi University assembled on Telegram pleading against the common entrance exam as Delhi University took the decision of becoming a part of the Central University Common Entrance Test. Students resisted the change as it reduced their options of changing their stream and not having enough preparation time. The Union Education Ministry is expected to a take decision on CUCET, in the coming week.

Common Entrance Exam Scheduled On June 27 Postponed Due To COVID
Amid the COVID-19, the Indian Army has postponed the Common Entrance Exam (CEE) scheduled to be held on June 27. The CEE was conducted for the selection of soldier general duty, soldier technical, soldier tradesman class 10th and 8th, soldier (NA/ vet) and soldier clerks. However, the new dates have not been revealed but is expected to be intimated soon. Earlier, several dates for the exams have been postponed.
