Rajasthan: Youth Died After Clash With Biker, Case Registered

In a shocking incident a communal violence erupted after a fight broke out between two groups in Rajasthan's Jaipur. An incident of road rage turned fatal after which the people started to protest and started to gather on the roads. The incident occurred after two bike riders collided on the road near Mehra Colony which falls under the Subhash Chowk police station area. A case is registered for further investigation.

Nuh Communal Clash Fuels Crimes Against Muslims

Muslims living and working in Haryana's Gurugram apparently continue to be the target of hate crimes, after posters threatening the residents of a slum in Sector 69A of the 'mega city' were put up on Sunday night. A majority of the residents of this slum are Muslims.There were also posters specifically targeting Muslim women and these come days after a mazar in a Gurugram village was set on fire.

Nuh Violence In July, Authorities Deny VHP's Brij Mandal Yatra In Haryana

Authorities have denied permission to hold on August 28 the VHP's Brij Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra in Haryana's Nuh that was disrupted after communal violence in July, police said on Tuesday. The Nuh district administration on Tuesday evening rejected the application for permission moved before it by the organizers of the yatra. he development comes over a week after a 'mahapanchayat' by Hindu outfits at Pondri village in Palwal.

Nuh Police Chief Transferred, Was On Leave During Communal Clashes

Another development reported in the Harayana-Nuh violence, the police chief in Nuh has been transferred with immediate effect. The transfer orders of Varun Singla came in the view that he was on leave when the violent communal clash broke out, killing six people and leaving hundreds injured. Superintendent of Police (SP) of Haryana Narendra Bijarniya had to rush to Nuh, as the police chief was absent on the spot.

Nuh Communal Clash Intensifies After Violence

The ripples from yesterday's 18-hour communal clash in Haryana's Nuh -- which claimed five lives and left at least 70 people injured -- has reached Badshahpur, 40 km away. Restaurants and shops were vandalised and torched by a mob this evening amid religious chants. Eyewitnesses said a mob of around 200 had entered the area around 4 pm, armed with sticks and stones.
