Minor Road Accident Leads To 'Riots' In Vadodara

A minor road accident has caused a communal storm in Vadodara, owing to the fact that the two parties involved belong to two different communities. Riots have since broken out in the area. While some rioters vandalised vehicles, others pelted stones. A combing operation was conducted by the cops in the area. Nineteen of the rioters have been arrested so far. Reportedly, the situation in Vadodara is under control now.

Kangana Ranaut, Her Sister Summoned By Mumbai Police

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel have been summoned by the Mumbai Police for alleged hate-mongering on social media. Reportedly, Bollywood casting director Munawwar Ali Sayyed has filed an FIR against the duo, saying their tweets spread "communal tension". Both should appear before the Bandra Police on November 23 and 24. They have been booked under sedition charges as well.

'Citizens for Democracy' Submits Report on Bengaluru Riots; Says, 'Pre-Planned'

A fact-finding committee headed by retired district judge Srikanth D Babaladi, submitted its report to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on September 4. The report suggests that the Bengaluru riots on August 11 were "Pre-Planned" and communally motivated. It is also claimed that people from SDPI and PFI are involved in planning the riots. The committee further stated that the mob "specifically targeted certain prominent Hindus in the area".

Banaglore Riots: 3 Killed, 100 Arrested and 60 Police Personnel Injured

Bangalore witnessed violent protests and mob attacks on August 12. A mob of 1000 people gathered outside MLA Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy and his sister's house, on a derogatory facebook post on Prophet Mohammed allegedly shared by his nephew, P Naveen.
