India Launches 42nd Communication Satellite CMS-01; 2nd In Pandemic
Amidst the pandemic, the ISRO has launched India's 42nd communication satellite CMS-01 on December 17. ISRO To Launch 42nd Communication Satellite CMS-01 Into Orbit
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is set to launch its 42nd communication satellite CMS-01 on December 17. The satellite will be aiming to provide Extended-C Band frequency services extensively covering Andaman-Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands besides mainland India. As per the ISRO, the satellite aboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C50) will take off at 3:41 pm (IST) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
