SC To Hear Plea Filed By K Kavitha In Delhi Liquor Scam

The Supreme Court is set to hear the plea filed by MLC of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) K Kavitha, against the ED investigation into the Delhi Liquor Scam. After being summoned by the ED, K Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao, filed a petition in the Apex Court, against the ED investigation, naming him a suspect in the controversial scam.

9th Edition Of Young Chef Olympiad Global Event Is Back

The International Hospitality Council (IHC) and the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) is back with their 9th edition of the Young Chef Olympiad. The IHC and IIMH inaugurated the global competition on January 29, followed till February 4, along with young chefs participating across 50 nations. The event supported by the Government of India, Tourism Department will be held in six cities in India, in physical form.

Tata Motors To Introduce New Models, Trims In Order To Preserve Its Supremacy In SUV Industry

Tata Motors is to introduce new models and extend existing model lines in order to maintain its leading position in the SUV sector. The automaker also intends to provide new trims and variations with feature updates to meet changing client demands. "We plan to further expand the SUV space by adding new nameplates/variants at regular intervals and expanding our consumer base," Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Vice President Rajan Amba said.

Mysuru Kickboxer Nikhil Suresh Dies During Competition, Father Accuses Organisers

Nikhil Suresh, a kickboxer from Mysuru, perished on July 10 during a kickboxing competition held by the K1 association of Karnataka in Bengaluru. After the tragedy, his father said that the event's organizers were to blame for his son's premature death because there were no medical services present. His trainer, Vikram Mysore Nagaraj, disclosed that the event's organizer will be sued by family members.

International Emmy Committee Bans Russian Programmes For 2022 Competition

International Academy of Television, Art & Science ahas decided to ban all Russian programs from this year's International Emmy Committee 2022 on March 25 to support Ukraine. The announcement says any Russian program, which meets the criteria of the competition and is ineligible, if submitted. Karnataka HC Asks Students 'Not To Insist' Wearing Hijab; Adjourns To Feb 14

Karnataka HC is continuing to review the "Hijab Row", on February 10. Amid the ongoing issue, the court also asked students not to wear religious attire until the matter is pending. A three bench panel headed by Chief Justice Ritu Raj Aswathi reviewed the matter and adjourned the case to February 14. Till the HC disposes the case, "you people should not insist on wearing religious things," CJ Aswathi said.
