PM Narendra Modi said he was pained by the loss of lives in the train derailment in Bihar's Buxar district and extended his condolences to the bereaved families.He said authorities are providing all possible assistance to all those affected. In the tragic train derailment incident, at least four people were killed and several injured after 23 coaches of the North East Express, on the way to Assam from Delhi, derailed.

Former CJI Ramesh Chandra Lahoti Passes Away, PM Expresses Condolences
PM Narendra Modi took to Twitter and expressed grief over the demise of Former Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ramesh Chandra Lahoti's death. He said, "He will be remembered for his contributions to the judiciary and emphasis on ensuring speedy justice to the underprivileged. Condolences to his family and well-wishers. Om Shanti.” Notably former CJI Lahoti passed away at a Delhi hospital on March 23. He was CJI from 2004-2005.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar expressed condolence to the victims of Bhagalpur explosion, held on the night of March 3. A total of seven people lost lives and several were injured, after a massive explosion was reported near Yatimkahana in Kajvalichak region in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The district authority said, the explosion was caused due to firecracker making in the building. Earlier, PM Modi also expressed grief over the incident.

Kanpur Bus Accident: PM Modi Expresses Condolence To The Lives Lost
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 31 condoled the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Kanpur, and wished speedy recovery to the injured. In a tweet, Modi said that he is very sad to learn about the accident and expressed condolences to the families of deceased persons. At least six persons died and several others were injured when a bus lost control and mowed down bystanders.
