Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot attacked Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and said it should be looked into as to why there was resentment among MLAs over the name of a new chief minister in the state. Ashok Gehlot Confirms To Contest Congress Presidential Elections, Will File Nomination Soon

Ahead of the Congress Presidential elections, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot confirmed to contest and said, this time no Gandhi will be the chief of the INC. "He (Rahul Gandhi) made it clear that no one from the Gandhi family should become the next chief," said Gehlot, who will be contesting against Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor. Gehlot also said, he will fix the nomination filing date for October 17 election, soon.
