Karnataka HC Refers 'Hijab Row' To Larger Panel Headed By Chief Justice Of The State

The Karnataka Hijab row is getting bigger as on February 9, the Karnataka High Court bench decided to refer the matter to a larger bench for a judgement. The matter would be tabled before the Karnataka Chief Justice for immediate review. The Court also denied interim relief given to students, allowing hijab and said, it would also be decided by the larger bench.

In the national executive meeting held on Sept 12, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was re-elected as AAP's National Convener for the third time in a row. Earlier, the party's constitution didn't allow the candidate to hold the position for more than two years.
