Delhi HC Directs Railways To Submit Report Regarding Contaminated Water Supply Allegations

2 Villages Boycott UP 2nd Phase Assembly Elections Over Contaminated Water Supply

Pakistan's 20 Cities Unsafe For Drinking Water: Govt Data

The latest data presented in Pakistan's National Assembly shows that 20 cities out of 29 from where water samples were collected are 50% unsafe for drinking water. The sample test claimed the water of three cities in Sindh and Gilgit province is 100% unsafe. Experts warn that if the situation continues, Pakistan will soon face a "famine-like situation." Pakistan also lost 400% per capita water availability in 74 years.

Gujarat: 6 Die, 50 Under Treatment After Drinking Contaminated Water

The consumption of contaminated water has left six dead and nearly 50 hospitalised in Surat district of Gujarat. The incident took place on May 30 and 31 in Kathor village where the residents suffered vomiting and diarrhoea after drinking the water. Consequently, they were admitted to government and private hospitals for treatment. Meanwhile, the locals have accused the authorities of failing to provide basic amenities to the residents.
