Unidentified Suspects Uprooted An ATM With Rs 1.40 Lakhs: Delhi

Unidentified suspects uprooted an ATM at a kiosk and decamped with the cash dispensing machine containing more than Rs 1.40 lakh in Delhi's Narela Industrial Area in the early hours of August 24, said police. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Ravi Kumar Singh said, "a PCR call was received from the command room of Central Bank of India, Mumbai, regarding an ATM break-in and theft at Khera khurd."

Bengal Govt Deploys Special Team, Control Room Ahead Of Cyclone Yaas

The West Bengal government has taken necessary precautions for cyclone Yass expected to make landfall on May 26. Creating control rooms, the authorities have planned to deploy 22 disaster management groups with tree cutters and electric technicians to help power outages. The police have also roped a team of HAM radio operators from WB Radio Club to assist. PM Modi held a review meeting on May 23 to check preparedness.

Cong Creates Control Room To Coordinate PCCs In COVID Relief Work

Congress Party on April 25 approved to create All India Congress Committee control rooms to help the Congress state units in the COVID-19 relief work carried out. The AICC kernel will coordinate with Pradesh Congress Committee control rooms and report back on daily basis. Creating control rooms in each state, Congress has deputed Manish Chatrath, Ajoy Kumar, Pawan Khera and Gurdeep Singh Sappal at AICC control room.
