Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari Reaches Tamil Nadu Chopper Crash Site
Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari reached the chopper crash site near Coonoor in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu on December 9, along with DGP C Sylendra Babu. In the Mi-17V5 helicopter crash, 13 people including Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat lost their lives on December 8. An order has been given by IAF for inquiry in the case.

CDS Gen Bipin Rawat, Wife & 11 Others Die In Chopper Crash: Tamil Nadu
Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others died in a plane crash in Tamil Nadu, on December 8. After hours of search operation, the Indian Air Force (IAF) confirmed the news. "With deep regret it has now been ascertained that Gen Bipin Rawat, Mrs Madhulika Rawat and 11 others on board have died in the unfortunate accident," said IAF.
