Coronavirus Update

India reported 8,865 new COVID-19 cases and 197 deaths in the past 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry data on November 16. 127 deaths out of a total 197 were recorded in Kerala. The active cases settled at 1,30,793 which is said to be 0.38% of the total 3,44,56,401 infections in the country, the lowest since March 2020. The daily positivity rate of the virus stands at 0.80%.
