India Records 8,439 COVID-19 Cases, 195 Deaths In Last 24 Hours
The Union Health Ministry on December 8 said India reported 8,439 new COVID-19 cases and 9,525 recoveries and 195 deaths in the past 24 hours. The total tally of death cases in the country stands at 4,73,952 and active cases at 93,733 and total recoveries 3,40,89,137, reported ANI. In India, the total vaccine administration crossed 129.50 crore doses so far.

India Records 6,822 New COVID-19 Cases, Lowest In 558 Days
India reported 6,822 new COVID-19 cases, 10,004 recoveries, and 220 deaths in the past 24 hours, said the Union Health Ministry on December 7. The new cases are said to be the lowest in 558 days in the country, reported ANI. India's active cases stand at 95,014, which is reported to be the lowest in 554 days. Besides, India administered over 128.76 crore vaccine doses so far.

India Reports 10,229 COVID-19 Cases; Active Cases Lowest In 17 Months
The Ministry of Health on November 15 reported that India recorded 10,229 new COVID-19 cases, 125 deaths, and 11,926 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The active cases stand at 1,34,096 which is said to be the lowest in 17 months. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 1.12% which is below 2% for the last 42 days. Reportedly, India conducted 9,15,198 tests in the past 24 hours.

India Records 15,786 COVID Cases; Recovery Stands At 98.16%
In the last 24 hours, 15,786 new Covid-19 cases were registered in India, which is 14% lower than the previous day's 18,454 cases. The recovery rate stands at 98.16% with 18,641 new recoveries in the past 24 hours. However, around 231 new deaths were also reported in the country. The active caseload reached the lowest in 232 days at 1,75,745. Besides, India has also completed 100 crore vaccine administration.

Tokyo's Olympic Village Confirms First Case Of Covid-19
About six days before the onset of the Olympics, Tokyo Olympic Village has reported the first positive case of COVID-19 during the screening test. Reportedly, the man who tested positive for the virus is a foreign national and was associated with the game's event organization. The man has been kept in isolation in a hotel, said Masa Takaya, Tokyo Organizing Committee Spokesperson.
