India Reports Fresh 1,569 COVID-19 Cases In Last 24 Hours

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India reported a fresh 1,569 COVID-19 case, 19 deaths, 2,467 recoveries, 3,57,484 coronavirus tests in the last 24 hours. The country reported a fresh 2,202 infection on May 16. India's active cases of COVID-19 stand at 16,400, which is 0.04 per cent of the total cases. Currently, the recovery rate stands at 98.75%.

India Registers 2,858 New Covid-19 Cases And 11 Deaths

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare India has reported 2,858 fresh Covid-19 cases; 3,355 recoveries; 11 Covid-19 related deaths in last 24 hours. Weekly positivity rate is 0.66%, daily positivity rate 0.59%. 4,86,963 tests are conducted in last 24 hours, recovery rate stands for 98.74%. The new cases are decreasing with every passing day, keeping the pandemic situation in track in India.

Europe Registers 2 Million COVID-Related Deaths, WHO Urges To Take Actions

According to the WHO Regional Office for Europe the cumulative number of confirmed COVID19 cases in the region became 218 million and 2,003,081 COVID-related deaths are reported. Although the numbers of new infections is decreasing in the region, COVID-19 remains a lethal virus, especially for unvaccinated and clinically vulnerable people. WHO Europe urged the broad public to take immediate long term actions on multiple fronts.

India Records 8,306 Covid-19 Cases; Active Cases Lowest In 552 Days

India reported 8,306 new cases and 8,834 recoveries in the last 24 hours, according to the data of the Union Health Ministry on December 6. Meanwhile, 211 deaths were recorded in the country, taking the total tally to 4,73,537. The active caseload stands at 98,416, which is said to be the lowest in 552 days. The recovery rate of the country reportedly stands at 98.35%.

India Reports 8,895 New Cases, 2,796 Deaths In 24 hours: Covid-19 Update

India reported 8,895 new COVID-19 cases, 6,918 recoveries and 2,796 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry on December 5. The sudden spike was recorded in the deaths because Bihar reconciled 2,426 deaths which was adjusted on today's report, as per ANI. Health Minister Slams Rahul Gandhi, Says Politics over corpses is Congress' style

"Politics over corpses is Congress' style," Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan retaliated over Rahul Gandhi's statement which accused centre of lying about COVID-19 death report. The back-and-forth started after Rahul Gandhi shared The New York Time's article-piece which estimated minimum deaths of 40 lakhs under 'worst scenario'. Meanwhile, the Central government's report declared only 3.1 Lakh deaths which experts estimate to be higher.
