India Reports 8,954 New Cases, 267 Deaths In 24 Hours: Covid-19 Update

India recorded 8,954 new Covid-19 cases, 10,207 recoveries and 267 deaths in the last 24 hours. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed the updated figures on December 1. As of now, India has 99,023 active cases and 3,40,28,506 discharges. The death toll has reached 4,69,247, till date. Moreover, India has administered more than 124.10 crore vaccine doses against Covid-19.

India Records Lowest Covid-19 Cases In 5 Months, Hits 'New Low'

After a devastating second wave, India has recorded the lowest weekly Covid-19 cases in five months. The nation recorded about 2.6 lakh cases from August 9-15. Notably, May 3-9 was India's peak, during which 27.4 lakh cases were recorded. The National weekly death count stands at 3,334. The cases in the northeast have been fluctuating, whereas, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Himachal Pradesh have witnessed a minor spike.

Dubai Asks Air India Express to Reject COVID-19 Test Reports Of Four Labs

Air India Express informed through twitter that the regulatory authorities in Dubai had recommended for rejecting COVID-19 test reports from four labs of Jaipur, Kerala, and Delhi. The four labs include Suryam Lab in Jaipur and Noble Diagnostic Centre in Delhi.
