US President Joe Biden Likely To Be Infected By BA5 Covid-19 Variant
United States President Joe Biden is likely to be contracted with a new variant of Covid-19, the BA5 Covid variant. On July 23, Dr Kevin O' Connor released a memo and confirmed the developments. "Our preliminary sequencing results have returned. The President's causative agent is most likely the BA5 variant." Furthermore, Biden who is Covid-19 infected is recovering slowly and is said to be stable, confirmed White House.

Dharavi Reports First Case Of Omicron Variant: Mumbai
With a new confirmed case of COVID-19 Omicron variant in Dharavi, Maharashtra's tally for the variant increased to 11. The BMC confirmed a Tanzania returnee to be Omicron positive. The man is currently being treated at Mumbai's Seven Hills Hospital. Reportedly, the government increased strict surveillance and screening at airports to monitor Omicron's situation. The total tally in India for the variant has reached 26 so far.

Kuwait Imposes Travel Ban On 9 African Nations Due To Omicron Variant
Kuwait suspended flight services with 9 African countries due to the new Covid-19 variant, named Omicron. Countries, including South Africa, Namibia, Bostwana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zambia, and Malawi won't have direct flight services from Kuwait.
