SC Forms 5-Members Committee To Investigate Adani Row
The Supreme Court (SC) formed a panel of five-members to investigate regulatory failures in the ongoing Hindenburg V/S Adani Group row. COVID-19 Expert Shahid Jameel Resigns From Government's Virologist Panel
Virologist Shahid Jameel on May 16 stated that he has resigned from the Union government's panel of experts appointed for detecting COVID-19 variants. Part of the advisory group INSACOG, Jameel stated, "I am not obliged to give a reason." Earlier, he had stated that the panel had warned about the variant in March beginning, however, the government did not respond to the warnings seriously.
