Covid Testing Is Mandatory For Foreign Travellers At K'taka Airports

Karnataka government has said passengers from countries where cases are rising will be subjected to Covid-19 testing at the airports. The decision covers passengers coming from South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe as well as European countries. MP: Indore Police Arrests Dog, Owner For Violating COVID Curfew

Ensuring strict law enforcement, Madhya Pradesh’s Indore police have booked a dog and its owner for violating the COVID-19 curfew. Reportedly, the police team during the patrol busted a businessman for taking his dog out for a walk in Palasia area. While the police have denied arresting the dog, various animal rights activists have come forward to protest the arrest for taking the dog on a walk.

Odisha Closes Its Borders With Chhattisgarh As COVID Cases Mount

The Odisha government on April 10 sealed its border with Chhattisgarh owing to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases. Besides, it has mandated a COVID-19 negative report for the travellers from Chhattisgarh. The government has also decided to impose a fine of Rs 2,000 for the first two COVID protocol violations and Rs 5,000 on repetition. "Do not show any mercy to offenders of COVID-19 protocols," said Odisha Chief Secretary.

Rajasthan govt has issued new Covid-19 guidelines to restrict new Covid-19 cases. Authorities have asked gyms, cinema halls and amusement parks to stay shut from 5 to 19 April.
